How does the internet relate with HTTP, DNS, IP, TCP, Routers, Encryption, and Public keys

What is the Internet?

Internet

It's an overall network that is simply interconnected through the entire globe and makes it easy for the user's device to have access to them by following the protocols.

HTTP

HyperText Transfer Protocol is a language used to communicate between web browsers and servers, which means that there certain ways which are used to communicate in order to retrieve an accurate result. This protocol is just like an address such that the devices must have the correct address to be able to make it communicate with the correct server.

Encryption

Is the process of encoding a piece of important information, so basically in the aspect of the internet, when the user sends a request which is in form of information, it is exposed to the internet which gives hackers the ability to perform some phishing(sending many requests which cause it to break down) activities to the device. In order to prevent this kind of act, as a user, we need to do the following because the problem will still always be on the user

  • Use a strong password

  • Verify the web authenticity

  • Install system security updates always.

  • Never install non-trusted software.

Public keys

It is basically a cryptographic key that can be obtained or used by an individual to encrypt messages which are intended for a recipient, such that these encoded messages can only be decoded by using the second key which can only be known to the recipient(private key). public-key.png So here, Now we have the public key which is used to encode the message and it is done by the sender while the private key which is used to decode the message is done by the reciever

DNS

Domain Name System helps in managing the sending and receiving of web files. The name consists of the URL you want to server to send to you as a response.

Router

Routers help manages the data send by the servers by transporting the packets in smaller binaries. This router work with the internet in such a way that when a user requests many data it will break them into a packet of small data for an efficient and fast response.

TCP/IP

Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol helps to break down for easy transmission. An IP is basically an address that helps to locate the resources which are requested by the user. Internet protocol is one of the most important protocols that is used in internet communication. It is related in the way such that a computer system has these addresses, therefore when two computer devices communicating with each other, the first system sent its own IP address as a request and then receives it by another IP address of another device.
